Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: A meet convened here yesterday decided to form a special company to run low floor buses introduced by the KSRTC recently.

The decision was taken at the meet convened by Transport Minister Jose Thettayil and the representatives of the KSRTC.

The existing buses and the new buses will be handed over to the company as per the decision taken. The government will have 51% share of the company, KSRTC will have 49% and the remaining one percent share will be given to the local self-governing bodies.

A final agreement in handing over the low floor buses to the company will be taken at the next cabinet meet.
